Chicago If You Leave Me Now (1976)

July 17th, 2009 by admin

Almost every song I put here reminds me the certain moment in my life that being accompanied by one or another melody occasionally sounded there. And that is why I come back to these compositions from time to time, perhaps for returning the experience I had got once?
Anyway all these songs are staying in my life calling up sweat memoirs I will never forget. I guess I’m not lonely on the way but as far I just can’t imagine my life without music listening it a lot as great number perfumers and their compositions may have to be significant to me. Definitely “Chicago” is one of those bands I listen and enjoy till now.

Hold me now
It’s hard for me to say I’m sorry
I just want you to know
Hold me now
I really want to tell you I’m sorry
I could never let you go
After all that we’ve been through
I will make it up to you
I promise to
And after all that’s been said and done
You’re just the part of me I can’t let go

After all that we’ve been through
I will make it up to you
I promise to

Next Time I Fall

June 5th, 2009 by admin

perfoming wonderful duet – Peter Cetera and Amy Grant
[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NRsl9sTOr4"]

Next time I fall in love
I won’t make the same mistakes
I’m gonna find a sweet little thing
Who gives back more than he takes
Well someone who’s heart is true
Someone who will love me too
That’s the boy I’m dreamin’ of
Next time I fall in love

Next time I give my heart away
I’m gonna save a little for me
If there’s one thing that I’ve learned
It ain’t always what it seems
I’ve been fooled for the very last time
and lose it all when they change their minds
My dreams won’t turn to dust
Next time I fall in love

I’m gonna break these chains and the pain and forget his name
Now that I’m free
There’s plenty of boys in this old world
There’s gotta be one for me

Next time
Next time love come’s around
It might just be tonight
It might just be with you
Somethin’ ‘bout it sure seems right
Might just slip and fall
Might just give it all
I’m givin’ in and givin’ up
Next time I fall in love

Melody Gardot Love Me Like A River Does

May 18th, 2009 by admin

Melody Gardot, an American jazz singer, writer and musician, was born 1985 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to Wikipedia her early career began as an exploration in music therapy. She was hit by a vehicle while riding her bike-age 19 at the time. Following the accident, Gardot was instructed to take up music therapy as a way to rebuild her cognitive impairment.

Until two years ago Gardot could speak only with great difficulty. “It was as if 20 minutes would pass for me to speak one sentence and I would sit there trying to break down the levee that was built between my brain and my mouth,” is how she describes it.

I’ve known this singer just recently and must confess have been taken with her charming voice with its elegantly melancholy that can entices you to surrender yourself. Now her music is one of my favorites to listen and to read, yeas, her texts are also so wonderful.

Love me like a river does
Cross the sea
Love me like a river does
Endlessly
Love me like a river does
Baby don’t rush you’re no waterfall
Love me that is all
Love me like a roaring sea
Swirls about
Love me like a roaring sea
Wash me out
Love me like a roaring sea
Baby don’t rush you’re no waterfall
Love me that is all
Love me like the earth itself
Spins around
Love me like the earth itself
Sky above below the ground
Love me like the earth itself
Baby don’t rush you’re no waterfall
Love me that is all

But That’s Not The Shape Of My Heart

May 12th, 2009 by admin

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=037uSAIahho"]

He deals the cards as a meditation
And those he plays never suspect
He doesn’t play for the money he wins
He doesn’t play for the respect
He deals the cards to find the answer
The sacred geometry of chance
The hidden law of probable outcome
The numbers lead a dance

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that’s not the shape of my heart

He may play the jack of diamonds
He may lay the queen of spades
He may conceal a king in his hand
[ Find more Lyrics on www.mp3lyrics.org/gC ]
While the memory of it fades

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that’s not the shape of my heart
That’s not the shape, the shape of my heart

And if I told you that I loved you
You’d maybe think there’s something wrong
I’m not a man of too many faces
The mask I wear is one
Those who speak know nothing
And find out to their cost
Like those who curse their luck in too many places
And those who fear are lost

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that’s not the shape of my heart
That’s not the shape of my heart

Play Me a Memory

December 29th, 2008 by admin

Say what you like but winter Holyday is one of the best times not only for travel and friendly parties but no doubt for visiting theatres, concerts, pop shows, art exhibitions or sporting events. And what is more if you find a great pleasure in that as a real fan of jazz, pop, rock or any other music genre or artists there is a great opportunity to order and then to get immediately needed tickets to all your favorites online with the best seats and even before the preferable Face to Face Tour start.

All what you need is to choose your favorite one from a huge range of great events taking place this holiday. Just selecting the concerts you love, picking up the most preferable price and seating charts you get your desire turned into a reality. I mean for instance Elton John and Billy Joel Tickets that also can be purchased online right now. Why Billy Joel and Elton John? Just I love both of them. I love the music they play, songs and lyrics as well. You remember as Billy Joel sings in ‘Piano Man’?
‘can you play me a memory
I’m not really sure how it goes
But it’s sad and it’s sweet and I knew it complete…’

As to me, I’m sure I would like them not only to play me a memory of great 70-80-th, the fantastic age of rock music legends but to take part in a grandiose musical show of persons which music till now have a great popularity and tickets for concerts are selling out stadiums all over the world. So, one should be hurried!

Sarah Connor From Sarah With Love

December 3rd, 2008 by admin

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7RKM32CvIc"]

Actually there are 2 verses of the text of this beautiful love song.
Verse 1
For so many years we were friends
And yes I always knew what we could do
But so many tears in the rain
Felt the night you said
That love had come to you
I thought you were not my kind
I thought that I could never feel for you
The passion and love you were feeling
And so you left
For someone new
And now that you’re far and away
I’m sending a letter today

From Sarah with love
She’d got the lover she is dreaming of
She never found the words to say
But I know that today
She’s gonna send her letter to you

From Sarah with love
She took your picture to the stars above
And they told her it is true
She could dare to fall in love with you
So don’t make her blue when she writes to you
From Sarah with love

[Verse 2:]
So maybe the chance for romance
Is like a train to catch before it’s gone
And I’ll keep on waiting and dreaming
You’re strong enough
To understand
As long as you’re so far away
I’m sending a letter each day

From Sarah with love
She’d got the lover she is dreaming of
She never found the words to say
But I know that today
She’s gonna send her letter to you

From Sarah with love
She’s gotta know what you are thinking of
‘Cause every little now and then
And again and again
I know her heart cries out for you

From Sarah with love
She’d got the lover she is dreaming of
Never found the words to say, ahh
But today, but today…

From Sarah with love
She took your picture to the stars above
And they told her it is true
She could dare to fall in love with you
So don’t make her blue when she writes to you
From Sarah with love

So don’t make me blue when I write to you
From Sarah with love

Toni Braxton. Unbreak My Heart

November 29th, 2008 by admin

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07U_uKGfv48"]

Don’t leave me in all this pain
Don’t leave me out in the rain
Come back and bring back my smile
Come and take these tears away
I need your arms to hold me now
The night are so unkind
Bring back those nights when I held you beside me

Un-break my heart
Say you’ll me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart
My heart

Take back that sad word good-bye
Bring back the joy to my life
Don’t leave me here with these tears
Come and kiss that pain away
I can’t forget the day you left
Time is so unkind
And life is so cruel without you here beside me

Un-break my heart
Say you’ll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart
My heart

Don’t leave me in all this pain
Don’t leave me out in the rain
Bring back the nights when I held you beside me

Un-break my heart
Say you’ll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry that tears
I cried so many, many nights
Un-break my

Un-break my heart
Come back and say you love me
Un-break my heart
Sweet darlin’
Without you I just can’t go on
Can’t go on….

James Taylor. You’ve Got a Friend

August 30th, 2008 by admin

There are a lot of songs that speak to everyone something recalling happy or sad moments of his life. And no doubt one of these heartfelt compositions is “You’ve Got a Friend” of course by James Taylor. ‘When you’re down and troubled and you need a helping hand’ – oh, who didn’t go through such feeling? Even if everything is OK and all in your life are going favorable and happy the songs like this one recalls there are people who need to be head right now, who need your help.

I like James Taylor’s songs, his heartfelt voice and amazing guitar playing of course. However a gitar is really hypnotic musical instrument. Learning to play guitar is a challenge, but you can start to practice with this beautiful song right now. If you need to be guideed Learn & Master Guitar will help you on the way.

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vY1peG8gHQ"]

When youre down and troubled
And you need a helping hand
And nothing, whoa nothing is going right.
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest nights.

You just call out my name,
And you know whereever I am
Ill come running, oh yeah baby
To see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
All you have to do is call
And Ill be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Youve got a friend.

If the sky above you
Should turn dark and full of clouds
And that old north wind should begin to blow
Keep your head together and call my name out loud
And soon I will be knocking upon your door.
You just call out my name and you know where ever I am
Ill come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you got to do is call
And Ill be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Hey, aint it good to know that youve got a friend?
People can be so cold.
Theyll hurt you and desert you.
Well theyll take your soul if you let them.
Oh yeah, but dont you let them.

You just call out my name and you know wherever I am
Ill come running to see you again.
Oh babe, dont you know that,
Winter spring summer or fall,
Hey now, all youve got to do is call.
Lord, Ill be there, yes I will.
Youve got a friend.
Youve got a friend.
Aint it good to know youve got a friend.
Aint it good to know youve got a friend.
Youve got a friend.
