The Game Of Love

December 17th, 2009 by admin

My two favorites – TINA TURNER and CARLOS SANTANA. Tina – with sales of 170 million albums and a phenomenal number of hit records to her career; River Deep, Mountain High, Proud Mary, What’s Love Got To Do With It, Better Be Good To Me, Typical Male, What You See is What You Get, Steamy Windows, We Don’t Need Another Hero, Goldeneye, The Best … Tina Turner is the most successful female rock artist of all time and the undisputed Queen of Rock N Roll. Carlos Santana – One of the more prominent figures to emerge from the lively West Coast rock scene of the late 60s, Carlos Santana was born into a family with a long history in the music field. He spent his early years in Mexico, receiving his first musical instruction from his father, a Mariachi violinist, who attempted for several years to train his son on the instrument. By the time he reached the age of eight, however, little Carlos had fallen under the influence of blues performers such as B. B. King and John Lee Hooker, and the violin was abandoned in favor of the guitar.

Tell me
Just what you want me to be
One kiss
And boom you’re the only one for me
So please tell me why
Don’t you come around no more?
‘Cause right now I’m cryin’
Outside the door
Of the candy store

It just takes a little bit of this, a little bit of that
It started with a kiss now we’re up to bat
A little bit of laughs, a little bit of pain
I’m tellin’ you my babe, its all in the game of love–

–Is
Whatever you make it to be
Sunshine instead of this cold, lonely sea
So please baby try
And you’ll live for what I’m good for
It ain’t sayin’ goodbye
Its knockin’ down the door
Of your candy store

You roll me, control me, console me
Please hold me!
You guide me, divide me into whole–yeah!

(Make me feel good–yeah!)

So please tell me why
Don’t you come around no more?
‘Cause right now I’m dyin’
Outside the door
Of your lovin’ store

Its all in this game of love, its all in the game of love
All in the game of love
(A little bit of this, a little bit of that)
You roll me, control me, please hold me
(A little bit of laughs, a little bit of pain)
And I’m here on my own…on my own

Alannah Myles

May 24th, 2009 by admin

This ” Song Instead Of A Kiss by” is one of my most loved songs by Canadian singer-songwriter Alannah Myles. She born in Toronto, Ontario and very soon after her self-titled debut album released in 1989, she got obtain and wide popularity. Her “Black Velvet” album 1990,” expesially a single taken from that album, topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, and till now this song have stayed a hit of number 1. She became a lesbian poster child. So, Alannah Myles, “Song Instead Of A Kiss by”, lyrics by Alannah Myles

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mfKM0qMr2A"]

Song
Instead of a kiss
Baby this is a

Song
Instead of a kiss

For all of you who ache, who long
For nights like this

Song
Instead of a touch
Darlin’ this is a

Song
Instead of a touch

To all of you who wait so long
And need so much

It is for those who like to cling
It is to those, to those I sing
Here is a song instead of a clutch
Instead of a moon
Instead of a soothing touch
In the afternoon

It is for those who like to cling
It is to those, to those I sing
Here is a song instead of a clutch
Instead of a moon
Instead of a soothing touch
In the afternoon

Annie Lennox. Money Can’t Buy It

May 19th, 2008 by admin

That’s absolute truth that money can’t buy a lot of things such as love, friendship, happy life and talent at last. Annie Lennox is talented singer, she is true Diva which still making us happy with her every new single.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CjBgIe9WkE]

I believe that love alone might do these things for you
I believe in love alone yeah yeah

Take the power to set you free
Kick down the door and throw away the key
Give up your needs…
Your poisoned seeds
Find yourself elected to a different kind of creed

I believe that love alone might do these things for you
I believe that love alone might do these things for you
I believe in the power of creation
I believe in the good vibration
I believe in love alone yeah yeah

Won’t somebody tell me what we’re coming to
It might take forever till we watch those dreams come true
All the money in the world won’t buy you peace of minde
You can have it all but you still won’t be satisfied

Money can’t buy it… baby
Sex can’t buy it… baby
Drugs can’t buy it… baby
You can’t buy it… baby

Now…
Hear this
Pay attention to me
’cause I’m a rich white girl and it’s plain to see
i got every kind of thing that the money can buy
Let me tell you all about it
Let me amplify
I got DIAMONDS…
You heard about those
I got so many that I can’t close my safe at night in the dark
Lying awake in a sick dream

I believe that love alone might do these things for you
I believe that love alone might do these things for you
I believe in the power of creation
I believe in the good vibration
I believe in love alone yeah yeah

Tina Turner. Private Dancer.

January 31st, 2008 by admin

“The story of Tina Turner goes much, much deeper than what one can read in the pages of a book or view on the silver screen. Tina Turner is a cultural icon on pair with Billie Holiday or Aretha Franklin.”
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_SjD1NhMh4]

Well the men come in these places
And the men are all the same
You dont look at their faces
And you dont ask their names
You dont think of them as human
You dont think of them at all
You keep your mind on the money
Keeping your eyes on the wall

Chorus
Im your private dancer
A dancer for money
Ill do what you want me to do
Im your private dancer
A dancer money
Any old music will do

I wanna make a million dollars
I wanna live out by the sea
Have a husband and some children
Yeah I guess I want a family
All the men come in these places
And the men are all the same
You dont look at their faces
And you dont ask their names
Repeat chorus twice

Deutschmarks or dollars
American express will nicely thank you
Let me loosen up your collar
Tell me do you wanna see me do the shimmy again

Mercedes Sosa. “Gracias a la vida”

Gracias a la vida

Canción de Violeta Parra, compuesta en 1964-1965

Gracias a la vida que me ha dado tanto.
Me dio dos luceros que, cuando los abro,
perfecto distingo lo negro del blanco,
y en el alto cielo su fondo estrellado
y en las multitudes el hombre que yo amo.

Gracias a la vida que me ha dado tanto.
Me ha dado el oído que, en todo su ancho,
graba noche y día grillos y canarios;
martillos, turbinas, ladridos, chubascos,

madre, amigo, hermano, y luz alumbrando

Me ha dado la marcha de mis pies cansados;

cuando miro el fruto del cerebro humano;

——
Thanks to life that has given me so much
It gave me 2 eyes that when I open them up
I perfect distinguish black from white
and in the high ski its stellate deeps
and in the crowds the man I love

Thanks to life that has given me so much
It has given me the sound and the alfabet
With it the words that I think and declare
Mother, friend, brother
And light shining the route of the soul of the one I love

Thanks to life that has given me so much
It gave me the march of my tired feet
With them I walked cities and puddles
Beaches and deserts, mountains and valleys
And your house, your street and your patio

Thanks to life that has given me so much
It gave me a heart that agitate its frame
When I look the fruit of the human brain
When I look the good so far from the bad
When I look the deeps of your clear eyes

Thanks to life that has given me so much
It has given me laughter and it has given me crying
That´s how I distinguish joy from sorrow
The two materials that form my song
The song that is yours and is our same song
Everybody´s song that is my own song (less)
