Simon and Garfunkel

September 29th, 2009 by admin

Hello darkness, my old friend,
Ive come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of
A neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one deared
Disturb the sound of silence.

Fools said i,you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you.
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the signs said, the words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
And whisperd in the sounds of silence.

Raining Song – Don’t Tell Me

September 29th, 2009 by admin

don’t tell me to stop
tell the rain not to drop
tell the wind not to blow
’cause you said so mmm

tell the sun not to shine
not to get up this time no no
let it fall by the way
but don’t leave me where i lay down

chorus

tell me love isn’t true
it’s just something that we do
tell me everything i’m not
first time but please don’t tell me to stop
all other times but don’t ever tell me to stop

tell the leaves not to turn
but don’t ever tell me i’ll learn no no
take the black off a crow
but don’t tell me i have to go

tell the bed not to lay
like the open mouth of a grave yeah
not to stare up at me
like a calf down on its knees

chorus
chorus prefixing 1st and 3rd lines with don’t you ever

don’t you ever
please don’t
please don’t
please don’t tell me to stop

don’t you ever
don’t you ever
don’t ever tell me to stop

tell the rain not to drop
tell the bed not to lay
like a open mouth of a grave yeah
not to stare up at me
like a calf down on its knees

Kanye West and Taylor Swift VMA’S Drama

September 20th, 2009 by admin

It’s reported as 19-year-old Taylor Swift was making her acceptance speech for receiving the night’s first honor, Best Female Video award, Kanye took the microphone from her and proclaimed, “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” When he handed the mic back to a stunned Taylor, the country starlet stood still, seemingly confused. The crowd erupted with a combination of boos for Kanye and applause for Taylor. Though Beyonce helped clean things up a bit at the end of the night when she received the Best Video Moon Man and invited Taylor back on stage to “have her moment,” the ruckus had only just begun.

While the country-music sweetheart has been the No. 1 news item since Sunday -when West interrupted her MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech insisting Beyonce should’ve won over Swift- Kanye West.Ignoring the warning from Swift’s record label, MJ immediately says, “Let’s just get the Kanye West thing out of the way here.”

Swift replied: “I think the outpouring of love is what I’m trying to focus on….Getting flowers from Janet Jackson is something I’d never thought would happen in my life.”

MJ then asked Swift exactly what happened. She replied, “It was definitely a very exciting night….It happened on TV and everyone saw what happened….I guess I’d just like to move on a little bit.”

Once again ignoring her, MJ says her already skyrocketing career was given another boost from the MTV/ Kanye incident. Swift said: “I think that maybe we should probably talk about something else.”

MJ: “It’s good for your career though.”

Swift: “I really would like to move on. I’ve asked you three times now.”

MJ: “One more question and I promise I’ll move on.”

MJ wasn’t given an opportunity to move on. Taylor immediately got off the line and then someone from her label stepped in to thank the host.
So, what do you think about?

Bensonhurst Blues

September 18th, 2009 by admin

Bay Parkway wonder
You’re such a success
Your pretty secretary, ha
She say you are the best

Your face always smiling
say you sure paid your dues
But I know inside
You’ve got the Bensonhurst blues

Those custom-made ciggies
that you offer to me pretend
and pretend to care about my family

And those pictures on your desk
All them lies that you abuse
Do they know you suffer
from the Bensonhurst blues

Your grandmother’s accent
still embarrasses you
You’re even ashamed
of the French you once knew

You’re part of the chance now
They break you making the news
But I know inside
you’ve got the Bensonhurst blues

But thanks for the lesson
Cause the life that I choose
won’t make me feel like living
with the Bensonhurst blues

And don’t, don’t try to write me
And don’t bother to call
Cause I’ll be in conference
Merry Christmas you all

You’re Always On My Mind

September 17th, 2009 by admin

Known as “Little Miss Dynamite,” Brenda Mae Tarpley (a.k.a. Brenda Lee) were born in Lithonia, Georgia, December 11, 1944. She was blessed with a powerful voice that belied her samall size. She could sing rockabilly, country and pop standards with equal conviction, and her versatility as an interpreter has allowed her a career of extraordinary longevity. She is the kicking, countrified upstart of “Jambalaya” and “That’s All You Gotta Do,” the pert, jaunty rocker of “Sweet Nothin’s” and “Let’s Jump the Broomstick,” the heartbroken balladeer of “I’m Sorry” and “Break It to Me Gently,” the sophisticated songstress of “I Just Want to Be Wanted” and “You Can Depend on Me,” and the country storyteller of “Big Four Poster Bed” and “Nobody Wins.” She is also indelibly associated with the holiday season, as her 1958 recording of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” has become a standard that’s heard every year and is ensconced at #4 on the all-time list of popular seasonal records.

Maybe I didn’t treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn’t love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Maybe I didn’t hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I’m so happy that you’re mine

If I made you feel second best
Girl I’m so sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn’t died
Give me, give me one more chance to keep you satisfied, satisfied

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Michael Jackson’s “wishes for the world”

September 13th, 2009 by admin

According to the News of the World hours before the death Michael Jackson wrote a series of mysterious post-it notes in the hours before his death, it emerged last night.

One note said ‘I am so grateful that I am a magnet for miracles’, while another read: ‘Love, no violence ever! Remember a beautiful future promise of tomorrow.’
The ‘magnet for miracles’ phrase is used in U.S. self-help programmes for recovering alcoholics to promote self-esteem.

One friend said: ‘These notes show that Michael was positive until the last – but also what a mess his mind must have been as he fought to keep it all together towards the end.’
Also included was a reminder about singing his hit ‘We Are The World’ during his show.
The source said: ‘It’s worrying that he had to write reminders about things as obvious as these while he was rehearsing for his tour.
‘But the drugs he was taking obviously had a huge impact on his memory.’
Jackson’s sister LaToya revealed yesterday that her brother’s mansion was ransacked after his death.

The Look of Love

September 10th, 2009 by admin

The look of love is in your eyes
A look your smile can’t disguise
The look of love is saying so much more than just words could ever say
And what my heart has heard, well it takes my breath away

I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you, now that I have found you

You’ve got the
Look of love, it’s on your face
A look that time can’t erase
Be mine tonight, let this be just the start of so many nights like this
Let’s take a lover’s vow and then seal it with a kiss

I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you, now that I have found you
Don’t ever go
Don’t ever go

Rammstein Du Hast

September 4th, 2009 by admin

Yessssss!:-)

Du
Du hast
Du hast mich

Du hast mich
Du hast mich gefragt
Du hast mich gefragt
Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt

Willst du bis der tod euch scheidet
Treu ihr sein fr alle tage…

You
You hate
You hate me
You hate me
You hate me to say
You hate me to say
You hate me to say and I did not obey

Will you until death does sever
Be upright to her forever…

Never
Never

Will you ’til death be her rider
Her lover too, to stay inside her…

Autumn Leaves

September 2nd, 2009 by admin

“Autumn Leaves” is one of the most re recorded songs. Originally this charming French melody sounded in 1945, then it was introduced by Yves Montand for the film Les Portes de la Nuit, in 1946. The music of “Les feuilles mortes” (literally “The Dead Leaves”) was written by Joseph Kosma and lyrics by the french surrealist poet Jacques Prévert.

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLlBOmDpn1s"]

Some later in 1947 the “Les feuilles mortes” was translated into the english by American songwriter Johnny Mercer. Since Roger Williams made the song a number one hit in the United States in 1955, the song is remaining in that position for ever:-)

[youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gy5GUYC3Ug"]

The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hands I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
