Marianne Faithfull As Tears Go By (1965)

February 15th, 2009 by admin

During 1960s Marianne Faithfull was one of Mick Jagger’s girl friends and their relationships were widely publicized. After they dispersed she continued to Learn and Master Guitar, get vocal lessons that no doubt fix her musician career as successful. But look, how she is touching in this one of her first clip, to say nothing of the famous song by Jagger. How old was he when wrote it? He is definitely genius!:-)

It is the evening of the day,
I sit and watch the children play.
Smiling faces I can see,
But not for me.
I sit and watch,
As tears go by.

My riches can’t buy everything,
I want to hear the children sing.
All I hear is the sound,
Of rain falling on the ground.
I sit and watch,
As tears go by.

It is the evening of the day,
I sit and watch the children play.
Doin’ things I used to do,
They think are new.
I sit and watch,
As tears go by.

London Jazz Club

February 6th, 2009 by admin

It is an old and well known truth that there’s only two ways to sum up music; either it’s good or it’s bad, that’s enough! When it’s good you don’t mess about it, you just enjoy it. No doubt each of us has own preferences in musical genres and styles but the main reason we choose the music is it must be good. Good music is live Jazz in Boisdale’s London Jazz Bar where you can spend wonderful time listening your favorite music in splendid atmosphere of elegant, classic-modern live jazz .

Sure, you noted my preferences in music, this is “all that Jazz”, of course. When Lui Armstrong had been asked about what is jazz? famous musician said: “Man, if you have to ask what it is, you’ll never know.”. Jazz is like poetry, it’s full of the nuances of improvisation, rhythms, thrill of joy or sadness depending on kind of composition. Jazz is playing from heart to heart then you just feel it or you don’t.

There are a lot of well known places featuring jazz with links to various Jazz Club London sites where you will find any needed information including monthly program details. To jazz, or not to jazz, there is no question!

Musical Events

Just as love is the expression of harmony in life a favorite music is expression of harmony in sound. Don’t you know that when Mozart was composing his genius compositions at the end of the eighteenth century, the city of Vienna where he lived was so quiet that we just can’t imagine such silence – fire alarms was given verbally, by a shouting watchman mounted on top of St. Stefan’s Cathedral? But our time is today and obviously our music repeats the thoughts, inspirations, rhythms and sounds of the modern time. A silence is very good thing somewhere and sometimes, but a good music is no doubt much better one!

Annual Reading Festival just provides everybody a great chance on the way of meeting with the most loved musical bands and artists. Today you can get online not only any festival, concert, show or Reading Festival Information but to buy or sell tickets for any events with Seatwave allowing fan to fan ticket exchange and that’s great. All what you need is just to choose the concert you prefer and then to get Reading Festival 2009 Tickets in time.

Beverley Craven – I Listen to The Rain

February 5th, 2009 by admin

I listen to the rain, whispering your name
And hurricanes cloud my life again
The memory will fade
And time will turn the page
Our love was made
I dream of yesterday
The fantasy is mine
It’s you I long to find

I close my eyes
And dream that you are here tonight
Make believe you?re crazy for me

You turn your head to hide
I know the reason why
The moon we ride
Could drown the swelling tide
I call out from the shore
A siren from the sand
This lonely land I am forever more

The fantasy is mine
It’s you I long to find

I close my eyes
And dream that you are here tonight
Make believe you?re crazy for me
I close my eyes
And dream that you are here tonight

I listen to the rain
Whispering your name
Whispering your name
